In Nice, the small beautiful city of France, a truck has plowed into a crowd who was celebrating Bastille Day, the 14th July fireworks. At least 84 killed and dozens seriously injured. Some British national are among the injured.
Nice city got in shock as it was splattered with blood and people running everywhere, today Friday evening.
President Francois Hollande said, ” the truck driver did this with the intention to kill, crush, and massacre .”
No terrorist group has yet claimed responsibility. Some sources said the man was identified as a Tunisian-French national, 31, named Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, but he has no terrorism link – a very quiet man.
However, some investigation said Bouhlel has some criminal records . He has recently appeared in a criminal court and he was guilty of violence. Sources also said that he has become “depressed” when his wife left him, according to telegraph.co.uk
Local officials said the driver was fatally shot by police immediately after having crashed into people, children, women, and men who were on the promenade .
