Singapore to open borders partially, allow travel overseas from September 1

SINGAPORE: Singapore announced yesterday it would partially re-open its border from September 1 and allow its people to travel to New Zealand and Brunei for general purposes including leisure and study overseas.

It also plans to allow travellers from Brunei and New Zealand to enter the country without any travel restrictions,  except that they will undergo a Covid-19 test upon arrival at the airport.

Singapore currently allows only official and business travel from selected places, including Malaysia and some provinces in China.
