The Health director-general, Datuk Seri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has been awarded the title “Tan Sri” for his effective approach in containing the spread of coronavirus in Malaysia.

Dr Noor has been conferred the Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) award that carries the title “Tan Sri” from the King of Malaysia, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
He said the recognition is not just for himself, but for all the frontliners.
“Alhamdulillah. This is a recognition of all frontliners at the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH).
“It is a symbol of the government’s trust and appreciation to civil servants,” Astro Awani quoted him as saying.
The Health Ministry and other agencies are doing their best to curb the spread of Covid-19, but public cooperation is essential to break the chain of infections from all types of mutations, he added.
Malaysia has been today recognized among the best countries in the world that have successfully contained the spread of the virus. It has made great progress in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic. -Malaysia World News
