Dr Noor has been conferred the Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) award that carries the title “Tan Sri” from the King of Malaysia, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

He said the recognition is not just for himself, but for all the frontliners.

“It is a symbol of the government’s trust and appreciation to civil servants,” Astro Awani quoted him as saying.

The Health Ministry and other agencies are doing their best to curb the spread of Covid-19, but public cooperation is essential to break the chain of infections from all types of mutations, he added.
