KUALA LUMPUR: Auditions for Miss/Mrs Plus World Malaysia 2020 will begin in August 15-29, 2020. All single, married and divorced ladies from all over Malaysia are invited to participate in this event. The registration is open now till August 10, 2020.
Miss/Mrs Plus World Malaysia is in search for a new international queen! The winner of Miss/Mrs Plus World Malaysia 2020 will represent Malaysia on the international stage at Miss/Mrs Plus World 2021 in USA.
C & N PRODUCTIONS, LLC (C & N), the producer of the international pageant Miss Plus World (MPW) is collaborating with Media Path Ent., Malaysia World News, some local partners and Putra Hotel to establish, design and conduct a successful national pageant – Miss/Mrs Plus World Malaysia 2020 as part of the MPW pageant system.
The auditions are scheduled to be held at Sunway Putra Hotel from August 29 to 30. However, the pre-selections have already started.
“We have started selecting candidates who are meeting the requirements and we will be inviting them to the audition soon.
“More than 100 ladies nationwide have already filled and submitted their application forms. It`s overwhelming, we are still receiving so many applications and inquiries. However, we will invite to the auditions only those who we believe have some of the required criteria,” said the National Director of Miss/Mrs Plus World Malaysia. Ziinine.A.Britshi.
To be eligible to participate in this prestigious pageant, applicant must be size 12 and above or hip measurement of 40 inches or larger; Malaysian citizen or permanent resident; natural born female; may be single/married or divorced; no record of current or past felony arrests; must be of good moral character; age 20 to 35 for `Miss` Plus World Malaysia, and age 36 and above for ‘Mrs’ Plus World Malaysia; and must have positive attitude.
Miss/Mrs Plus World Malaysia pageant is a humanitarian driven organization that promotes success through leadership, integrity, sisterhood, character, and confidence in its pageant contestants.
There are no bikini or swimming suits shows in this pageant. The fashion shows/rounds at the final gala night will be all about national and elegant costumes.
“We will teach our queens how to be articulate, intelligent and compassionate. They must be aware of world’s diplomacy and be ambassadors of peace. They are to respect cultural differences.
“Miss Plus World at the local level, state, national and international queens are to dress impeccably. Clothes are to be properly fitted. Our queens are to exude class and elegance in their conversations and appearances. In everyday life people notice their intelligence, physical beauty, and sense of style.
“In the competition, the costumes are to display the pride and elegance of Malaysia’s beauty and multi-cultures. The contestants will be from all races namely Malay, Indian, Chinese, including from Sarawak and Sabah. Therefore, our fashion shows on the stage will manifest the multi-racial and multi-cultural heritage,” said the organizer.
This preliminary pageant is part of the international pageant ‘Miss Plus World’, a world-class, respected and prestigious pageant for plus size ladies. The pageant is designed to empower and encourage its queens, contestants, and families to be involved in their communities to serve as ambassadors.
Twenty-six (26) contestants would be shortlisted for the final round at Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on December 19. The winner of this year’s pageant will represent Malaysia in the Miss/Mrs Plus World Pageant International grand finals in the USA next year.
The pageant is a good platform for those aspiring to gain international recognition, or those who want to become international plus size models or icons.
“I hope this year will witness two Malaysian ladies crowned to represent Malaysia on the international stage in the USA at this world class plus size pageant,” he added in a statement shared with the media today.
This pageant is not just about the good looks, or big curvy body, but it teaches a lot more. It is also about confidence, humility, intelligence, sisterhood, and leadership,” said the statement.
The vision of the Miss Plus World Pageant is to showcase the diversity, creativity, leadership, style, grace and beauty of women from across the world.
The International Executive Director of the Miss Plus World Pageant, Madam Constance W. For the first year, Malaysia will be taking part in this international pageant and Ziinine is making a history by being selected as the first National Director of Plus World to promote, organize quality national pageant in Malaysia, and crown one or two Malaysian ladies (Miss and Mrs) to compete and represent Malaysia on the international stage at the Miss Plus World Pageant 2021 in Houston, Texas, USA.
