PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reminds those who are going to pray in mosques and surau today to perform the ablution at home,  bring their own prayer mats, and abide by the CMCO instructions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Muhyiddin also reminded people to practise social distancing when meeting relatives and friends and avoid shaking hands with one another during hari raya.

“No need to shake hands. Bowing and smiling is enough as a sign of respect.

“God willing, we will still get the merits of praying while trying to control the spread of Covid-19, ” he said in his Hari Raya Aidilfitri address to the nation yesterday.
