KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 1,105,890 Malaysians have received their Covid-19 vaccine shot as of Thursday (April 15), in the first phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme that started since February 2021.
More than 434,301 people have already received both doses of their vaccine shots, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said today on his official Twitter.
The first phase of the immunisation programme, from February to April 2021, involves frontliners.
The second phase, from April to August 2021, will involve senior citizens aged 65 and above, as well as people with co-morbidity problems or disabilities.
The third phase, from May to Feb 2022, is for individuals aged 18 and above.
